The Magnificent Seven

6 Oct

This event has finished and is no longer available for booking.

The Devonshire Arms | 6th October 2014 | 7 courses £95 (inc wine)

Our very own Head chef and Patron of the Freemasons at Wiswell will be joining 6 other top chefs to make up the magnificent 7.

Dingley Dell flying visits are a series of charitable fundraising events celebrating the journey of the pig from farm to plate. The event starts with an introduction and farm tour from Mark Hayward the farmer, this is followed by a butchery demo from master butcher Kevin Burrows as he slices and dices some Dingley Dell Pork. The it's down to the serious business of a pork tasting menu as our line up of top chefs unleash their creativity.

As well as a mouth-watering menu with wine-matching, the Dingley Dell Flying Visit at the Devonshire Arms will incorporate porky anecdotes and a farm film from ringmaster Mark from Dingley Dell and a short chat about pig welfare from the RSPCA’s Freedom Food. To date the Flying Visits have raised over £35000 for various charities and we hope that this event which will be raising money for Candlelighters, a childhood cancer charity based in Yorkshire, will be equally as successful.
