Three recipes from Steven Smith, chef-patron of Freemasons at Wiswell, are featured in a glossy new book.
Relish Merseyside and Lancashire is one of a series of publications championing the best regional culinary talent in the country.
Freemasons is one of a select number of restaurants included in the book, which was launched in Liverpool this week.
Steven's featured recipes are: Tandoori Roast Monkfish, Pig's Trotter Nuggets and Scratching, Sweet Potato, Apple and Cumin; Goosnargh Duck; Poached and Roast Breast, Leg Meat Wantons, Beetroot and Orange; and Mango Ravioli, Rice Pudding Blood Orange Soup.
Steven said: "This is a great book and I am sure it will sell really well. It's a fantastic showcase for the culinary talent of the region and has given me an appetite to work on a book of my own one day!"
Other restaurants featured include Spire, Fresh, 60 Hope Street, Pushka and La Mouette. Copies are on sale at Freemasons, priced £17.50.
