Ringing in the changes for New Year

09 Dec 2010

The New Year will see a new-look to some of the menus and opening hours for Freemasons at Wiswell.

In order to build on a fantastic first full year in operation we are fine-tuning our service in order to further improve the Freemasons experience.

We will be closed after the lunch service on January 3rd and will re-open for dinner on Wednesday, January 19th, to give our staff a well deserved break after a hectic festive period but also to allow the installation of a brand new and innovative kitchen that will help take our food to the next level.

Freemasons will then be closed each Monday, except for Bank Holidays, when we will serve special seasonal menus. This also allows a more flexible staff rota, ensuring consistency of results, and will pave the way for an exciting development in the New Year, the launch of our Cookery School, which will be held on one Monday each month, details to be announced shortly.

Sundays will see an all-day Sunday Lunch, with specials, while sandwiches will disappear from the menu as we have noticed that the vast majority of Freemasons visitors want the full eating experience.

Chef/patron Steven Smith added: “2011 is set to be another exciting and important period as we aim to build on the excellent achievements of our first full year in operation. All the changes are designed to concentrate our efforts and improve the Freemasons experience.”
