Freemasons at Wiswell now offers a total of 30 wines and champagne by the glass.
Our list was recently expanded to complement chef-patron Steven Smith's menu but also to satisfy both the wine connoisseur and the casual drinker.
Highlights in the white selection include the Barmito del Cervo chardonnay from Tuscany, perfect with game, priced at £9.50 per 175ml glass, and the Yalumba Y Series Viognier.
Amongst the reds is the Le Bouquet Rouge, from Georges Dubouef, a perfect pre-dinner red and reasonably priced at £3.65 per glass, or the powerful Italian Amarone Costasera, Appassimento at £14.90 per glass.
With Deutz Brut at £7.95 per glass and a selection of three rose wines, this new list provides a true reflection of the full extensive bottled list.
