For the last five years, every October we’ve had our annual Game Week event and we’re firing up for our sixth event this year, from Wednesday 15th through to Sunday 19th.
We’ve got some of the nation’s best chefs coming to The Freemasons to share their take on game with our customers and we’re expecting this event to sell out quickly, so if you like the look of the line-up below, I’d recommend booking your tickets sooner rather than later!
On the Wednesday, we’ll be welcoming Josh Eggleton, Chef Proprietor of the multi-award winning Pony & Trap, who will provide guests with a five course menu. Winning a Michelin star in 2011, Josh will be travelling up from Bath to provide guests with a sumptuous five course meal.
Double Michelin-starred chef Kenny Atkinson, Chef Patron of The House of Tides in Newcastle takes over the reins on Thursday, 16th October, offering diners an insight into his renowned style of cooking.
On Friday 17th, Manchester-food entrepreneur Monica Sawhney, founder of the much-celebrated Spice Club, will provide her take on game. Host of exclusive supper clubs and pop-up dining events, Monica manages to accentuate and balance the incredible gamut of smells and tastes of Indian cuisine to produce exceptionally crafted dishes that are a delight to all of the senses. Her ambition, art and skill have attracted the attentions of food lovers around the country and her Asian-inspired menu will provide the perfect complement to her fellow chefs throughout the week.
The Freemasons team will take over on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th, with a five course menu on the 18th, focussing on seasonal, local produce, while Sunday will be all about the roast of the day, with roast grouse and all the trimmings, to finish the week in style.
All the info about the event is available in the news section of the website. It’s going to be a fantastic event, the main difficulty for our customers is going to choosing which night to come!
