Freemasons at Wiswell enters Sunday Times Top 100 List at No.83

18 Nov 2013

Freemasons is the only pub to make it onto the list!

The Freemasons at Wiswell made some serious ripples on the national restaurant scene at the weekend, bursting in to The Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants, in association with Harden’s, taking 83rd place, as the only pub to find its way into the top 100.

In a list which sees 51 of the top 100 restaurants based in London, and only 7 in the North West, The Freemasons at Wiswell’s presence at No.83 is truly demonstrative of the extensive work put in to the menus and dining experience by Head Chef Steven Smith and his team.

The Freemasons has quickly become one of the Ribble Valley’s most sought after destinations for food and drink, offering its clientele a true gastronomic experience in a stylish pub setting.
The quality of the Freemasons extensive food and wine menu has established the country inn as one of the North’s top dining destinations, a status firmly backed up by The Sunday Times listing.
Head Chef Steven Smith said; “It’s a real honour to make it on to The Sunday Times Top 100 restaurants list. It’s a list we all wait for with anticipation every year and we’re absolutely delighted to be on there. We’ve worked tirelessly to produce an exciting and inviting menu, that encourages customers to return and I believe our entry in to this list is indicative that what we are doing works. There are so few restaurants in the North that make it on here, so the fact that we’re one of them is a true acclaim indeed.”
