We are a family friendly country pub so children and dogs are most welcome, please check the room type is suitable and mention any additional requirements when making a booking. We have 2 rooms on the ground floor which are suitable for dogs and have disabled access.

Terms and Conditions

The Freemasons reserves the right to alter, substitute or withdraw any amenity or facility listed. In certain circumstances generic photos have been used to represent the general style of amenities and offers.

In the extremely rare event that we need to cancel your booking you will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability. The Freemasons accepts no liability nor will pay any compensation in the event of a force majeure or circumstances beyond control including but not limited to flood, extreme weather, fire or failures in power.

If the booking is cancelled within 7 days of the arrival date no cancellation charges will apply, and we will endeavour to assist you with a suitable alternative date. If the booking is cancelled within 7 days of arrival or in the event of a no-show there will be no refund. You may wish to take out travel insurance to cover any risk that you may need to cancel your booking.

Guests may check in from 3pm on the scheduled day of arrival and asked to vacate their rooms by 11am the following day. Guests arriving and departing outside of these times may incur additional charges.

Breakfast is included in all room bookings and is served between 8:30-9:30am weekdays and between 9:00-10:00am on weekends. Lunch or dinner is not included with your room booking unless it is booked as a package. If you do not attend these meal times they may be forfeited and non-refunded.

In accordance with legislation The Freemasons is a smoke free premises and smoking in the rooms will result in charges.

We reserve the right to charge for any damage incurred to your room during your stay, including specialist cleaning or for any items missing when you leave.
