Celebrations and Accolades!

Our Celebration Menu has gone down a treat these last few months and I’m pleased to be able to announce it will stay on the Menu until the end of the year.

This special menu was created to celebrate being the first pub in history to receive a coveted seven out of 10 in the Waitrose Good Food Guide, as well as taking the top spot in the top 50 pubs list. And now we have even more to celebrate with our customers – not only did we make it in to The Sunday Times Top 100 Restaurants list for the second year in a row, but we also proved to the cheapest on the list!

Now I’m not a fan of the word cheap – to me it doesn’t fully explain what we’re doing here. I prefer the term Best Value – because what we’re trying to do is provide top quality cuisine at a price that doesn’t exclude customers. And that is part of what our Celebration Menu is all about – giving customers a chance to enjoy a simpler version of our menu at an affordable price. So if you haven’t tried it yet, now’s your chance!

On another note, our next event is our Food and Wine Club on Thursday, November 6th. At £45 per person, the night will see guests served the best seasonal British produce, expertly matched to some sensational wines, from some of the country’s best wine producers. Hope to see you there!
