War of the Roses 2017 - Steve's Revenge!

15 Jun

This event has finished and is no longer available for booking.

Thursday 15th June sees the return of the much anticipated War of the Roses, with The Freemasons' Lancashire lad and Chef Proprietor Steven Smith taking on Sheffield lad and Head Chef Rupert Rowley, of Fischer’s at Baslow Hall – in a battle of the two counties.

With Steve losing out on the battle last year he is fighting fit for taking his revenge in this epic cook off! Who will come out on top? You decide!

Guests will be treated to a six course meal and will be armed with score cards yet again, detailing each course from both chefs – a starter, a main and a dessert. All six courses will be scored individually up until end of service, when either Lancashire or Yorkshire will walk away victorious!

Tickets are £70 per person with an optional £30 to include our wine package.

Every year this event increases in popularity and tickets are expected to sell out in a few weeks, so if you want to see if Lancashire can retain the title, now’s the time to book your place! Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to experience different styles of gastronomic cooking under one roof!
