Award-winning establishments L’Enclume and The Freemasons at Wiswell had a lot to celebrate last year. A real highlight for both came with respective first place accolades in The Waitrose Good Food Guide, with L’Enclume taking the top spot in the Guide’s Restaurant List and The Freemasons finishing in first place in the Top 50 Gastropubs list, as well as becoming the first pub in history to receive a seven out of ten in The Good Food Guide
To celebrate that achievement, the two establishments are teaming up for one night only, to create a six course meal on Thursday, April 9th, with both Mark Birchall, Group Executive Head Chef for part of Simon Rogan's restaurant group (including the sites in Cartmel and Manchester) and Steven Smith, Freemasons Chef Patron, preparing two main courses and a dessert each.
Taking place at The Freemasons, Elizabeth Carter, Consultant Editor of The Good Food Guide, will be Guest of Honour and will be undertaking a Q&A with both chefs after the meal, discussing their style of cooking, their ambitions and their inspirations in the kitchen.
Tickets for this much anticipated event, which starts at 7pm, cost £70 with an available wine flight for £30.

After an agonising wait, Steven and the Team at The Freemasons Wiswell can’t wait to welcome you back to enjoy once again the finest that Lancashire has to offer.
